Vitamin D and Migraine: Are you missing sunshine?
Research suggests that there is a link between Vitamin D and Migraine as well as Depression and Fatigue.
Research shows that it is a good idea to take Vitamin D3 supplements, get some sunshine or consume it through your diet in order to stay healthy.

You can take Vitamin D3 supplements, which is available in 400, 1000, 2000, and 5,000 IU doses. Make sure to buy good quality ones though and do your research.
You can get Vitamin D through sunlight, but sometimes that is not always an option, such as in the winter. Also, migrainers tend to be light sensitive, so make sure to grab some sunglasses before heading out if it is really bright out.
You can also consume Vitamin D rich foods, such as salmon, avocado, and olive oil.

I take Puori D3 supplements. The vitamins are dissolved in coconut oil. That makes it easier for the body to absorb them. Also, the capsules are dark to shield the vitamins from light that degrades them over time. At the time I started taking D3, they were said to be the best.

I used to really struggle with fatigue, the doctors prescribed me with vitamin D tablets, I definitely was able to tell a difference.

I also was vitamin D deficient and B12 deficient but once I started taking supplements I noticed a difference in my energy.

#2: I take 5,000 IU every morning. I also take magnesium. It has helped me more than I can describe. After three burn-outs it felt like I was only able to use a fraction of my former brain capacity. Then I was proposed at iFokus to try magnesium. It has gotten me back to the highest capacity in fifteen years. It may only be placebo, but I don't care. 😃

I used to take various kinds of Magnesium for migraines, it supposed to Help some people. But it felt like it only helped in the beginning. So I stopped because they are expensive. Now I take them infrequently. For instance, if I can't sleep.

I read that Magnesium is a bit like vitamin D in that they are different in quality. Does anyone know if that is correct? I take the Puori M3. When they are on sale, I buy a year’s, or so, supply.
